Kolber is originally from Pennsylvania, earned her graduate degree from the University of Miami. She began her professional career at CBS Sports New York City in the role of video coordinator. She earned a local Sports Emmy during her tenure with WTVJ-TV in Miami. In addition, she was a reporter at WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. Her selection was made as anchor on ESPN2 at the beginning of 1993. The station stayed with her until ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and serves as the host of "Monday Night Countdown".
