Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American chef television personality and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her trademark spiky blond tresses and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, reveals simple and easy to master cooking techniques that are suitable for the home cook. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in the best New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was inspired by food. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in managing restaurants when she received an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful learning experience. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. After graduation, chef Burrell spent a time in Italy taking classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners while working at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. When she was in Italy the chef developed an appreciation for and understanding of Italian food. It made a huge influence on her perception of food. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of children who face difficulties. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador which promotes education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. She is a frequent guest presenter at conferences, and she travels the country as part of her mentorship role. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
